Rubel up against US dollar, Russian ruble at week’s last trading

June 12, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.7715 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.8241 per 100 Russian rubles but dropped to 3.202 per euro and 4.0718 per 10 yuan.  

In the outgoing week (June 8 – 12), the rubel gained 1.61 percent against the US dollar, 2.18 percent against the euro and 0.05 percent against the ruble but dropped by 0.53 percent against the yuan.

The Belarusian currency gained 4.93 percent against the dollar in the first five months of 2026.

Core inflation slows to 5.3 percent in May
