Belarus’ economic growth picks accelerates to 1.5 percent in H1

July 17, Pozirk. The rubel weakened against the US, European and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency fell to 2.8938 per dollar, 3.3126 per euro and 4.2729 per 10 yuan, but rose to 3.6963 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (July 13 – 17), the rubel weakened by 0.84 percent against the dollar, 1.23 percent against the euro and 1.01 percent against the yuan but rose by 1.36 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 0.13 percent against the dollar in the first half of 2026.
