Rubel drops 1.5 percent against US dollar at BCSE this week
August 7, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 2.9484 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also dropped to 3.4014 per euro and to 4.4126 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.6294 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (August 3 – 7), the rubel weakened by 1.47 percent against the dollar and 2.3 percent against the yuan but rose by 0.87 percent against the euro and 0.92 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 0.37 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2026.
