Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,069

February 1, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,918 from 742,953 on Monday to 744,871 on Tuesday, with the death toll rising by 17 from 6,052 to 6,069, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 734,885 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,359 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,731,354 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Monday, with 10,989 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of January 28, as many as 5,321,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,447,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
