Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,099

February 3, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 4,990 (new daily record) from 748,505 on Wednesday to 753,495 on Thursday, with the death toll rising by 15 from 6,084 to 6,099, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 742,762 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 4,581 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,823,477 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Wednesday, with 50,465 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 2, as many as 5,383,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,533,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
