Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,116

February 4, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 7,350 (new daily record) from 753,495 on Thursday to 760,845 on Friday, with the death toll rising by 17 from 6,099 to 6,116, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 749,595 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,114 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,870,801 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Thursday, with 47,324 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 3, as many as 5,399,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,559,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
