Cichanoŭskaja announces her participation in the Munich Security Conference

February 11, BPN. Belarusian democratic leader Sviatlana Cichanoŭskaja announced her participation in the Munich Security Conference, to be held in the capital of Bavaria on February 18-20.

“I am glad to announce my participation in the Munich Security Conference 2022,” Cichanoŭskaja wrote on Twitter. “With world politicians, I will discuss the regime [of Aliaksandr Lukašenka] as a threat to security in the region and resolution of the crisis in Belarus. I will also have high-level meetings there on February 18-20 to discuss support for Belarusians.”

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, US Vice President Kamala Harris, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg are expected to attend the Conference.
