Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,329

February 18, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 8,194 from 859,884 on Thursday to 868,078 on Friday, with the death toll rising by 16 from 6,313 to 6,329, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 853,535 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,629 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,248,033 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Thursday, with 29,228 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 17, as many as 5,547,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,836,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
