Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,535

March 4, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,949 from 925,515 on Thursday to 927,464 on Friday, with the death toll rising by 14 from 6,521 to 6,535, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 918,284 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,194 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,510,624 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Thursday, with 21,696 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of March 1, as many as 5,669,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,069,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
