MAZ trucks sales in Russia fall by nearly 2% in February

March 16, BPN. Sales of the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) trucks fell by nearly 2 percent in Russia in February 2022, said Russia’s Autostat agency).

MAZ sold 423 vehicles, eight vehicles less than in February 2021. That was a decrease of 1.9%.

MAZ ranked fifth among the best-selling brands in this segment of the Russian car market, after KamAZ, which sold 3,255 trucks in February 2022 (2,489 in February 2021), Volvo – 729 (349), GAZ – 705 (696) and Ural Automobile Plant – 606 (378).

By the end of 2021, MAZ increased its sales in
Russia by 44.5%, selling 5,410 trucks.
