Popular TikToker, wife get 10 days in jail

June 9, BPN. A popular TikToker and his wife have been sentenced to 10 days in jail, the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.

Alaksiej Bondar, better known under the nickname lexmask, has over 60,000 followers.

He and wife Marharyta stood trial in Minsk on June 8.

Their charges remain unknown, but a police-linked Telegram channel said the blogger addressed “military conflict” to gain popularity.

It also posted a video of the arrested man saying he was “subscribed to destructive Telegram channels” and “went to rallies.”
