Political activist arrested, fined for social media post

June 10, BPN. Hanna Skačok, activist of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) in Barysaŭ, Minsk region, was arrested on June 8 for reposting a video from a mass event in Russia, showing propaganda materials with the Nazi swastika, the party reported in its Telegram channel.

After spending a night in the temporary detention center, Skačok was fined 320 rubles (about $125) under the Administrative Offences Code.
