New arrests in Smarhon, Mazyr

June 12, BPN. Jaŭhien Bužynski, a health professional, was arrested in Smarhon, Hrodna region, on June 10 on unknown charges, the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.

Aksana Aŭčynskaja, 23, was arrested in Mazyr, Homiel region. Pro-government Telegram channels published a video of her interrogation, in which she admitted to sharing pictures of Russian military equipment with Belaruski Hajun, a Telegram channel tracking movements of Russian troops in Belarus. She might face criminal charges.

On March 16, Belarusian interior ministry declared Belaruski Hajun an extremist group.
