June 14, BPN. The next meeting between Vladimir Putin and Alaksandr Łukašenka is scheduled for late June, said Boris Gryzlov, Russian ambassador to Belarus, on June 13.
Gryzlov stressed that Belarus is Russia’s closest ally and the bilateral cooperation is currently at its peak. According to him, Moscow and Minsk are building their relations based on “traditions of friendship and good neighborliness, supported by the common history, spiritual and cultural values, and close family ties.”
This will be the sixth meeting between Łukašenka and Putin in 2022. All their previous meetings took place in Russia.
