Rubel falls against euro at BCSE
August 30, BPN. The value of the rubel decreased 0.7 percent against the euro at the August 30 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), where the Belarusian currency went down from 2.5436 at the opening of the session to 2.5613.
At the same time, it climbed against the dollar from 2.5586 to 2.5567, and against the Chinese currency from 3.7039 per 10 yuan to 3.7032.
It also it increased against the Russian currency from 4.2407 per 100 rubles to 4.2326.
Last week (August 22-26), the Belarusian currency rose by 0.69 percent against the euro and by 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble. At the same time, it slid by 0.23 percent against the US dollar and by 0.03 percent against the Chinese yuan.
The rubel weakened by 2.7 percent against the US dollar from 2.5481 to 2.6170 in the first seven months of 2022.
