November 2, BPN. The Vatican’s envoy to Belarus, Archbishop Ante Jozić, prayed at the burial place of the victims of Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin’s terror in the Kurapaty woody area near Minsk, as well as at the WWII-era Mały Traścianiec death camp.
A Roman Catholic Church website in Belarus wrote that the visit took place on All Souls’ Day. The apostolic nuncio was accompanied by advisor John Kallarackal and Archbishop Juzaf Stanieŭski.
