October 4, BPN. Belarusian leader Alaksandr Łukašenka has blamed the rising inflation on the USA and the EU, his press service reports.
“Today’s inflation, which we mainly import, was created by the United States and partly by the European Union: they scattered helicopter money, dollars and euros,” he said, visiting a biotech company in the Puchavičy district, Minsk region.
Łukašenka said that COVID-19 was at the heart of the world’s economic problems. He called the global pandemic an artificial situation that was designed to weaken economies, primarily China.
