November 11, BPN. Belarus’ average retirement pension will rise by 23 percent year on year in December, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security reported.
It will amount to 670 rubels (about $270), the ministry added.
On November 10, Alaksandr Łukašenka signed an edict increasing all types of pensions, including for old age, work experience, disability, and others starting from December. He said he was content with social security tax collection in 2022 and said that authorities will increase pensions instead of accumulating extra money.
Work pensions increased by 7 percent in March and by 10 percent in August. In December, they will rise by 5 percent.
