November 29, BPN. A court in Baranavičy, Brest region, has blacklisted the Belarusian souvenir store Roskvit’s website and Instagram page with 490 followers as extremist content.
A week earlier, the Committee for State Security (KGB) searched the home of Juryj Kazakievič, Roskvit’s owner and activist of the outlawed Movement for Freedom.
Management of the mall, where Roskvit is
located, closed the entrance to the store under pressure from authorities, the
Viasna Human Rights Center said.
