November 30, BPN. Former Forestry Minister Vital Drožža will go on trial on corruption charges. The Minsk City Court will hear his case on December 8, the Supreme Court said on its website.
Drožža was relieved of his post “in connection with a misdemeanor incompatible with being in public service,” Alaksandr Łukašenka’s press office reported on May 5.
There were unconfirmed reports in the media that he was arrested.
He had served as minister since April 2018. The ex-official turned 44 on June 20.
