Poland reintroduces consular fees for national visas

January 3, BPN. Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau signed a directive to introduce a consular fee of €35 for Belarusians applying for Polish national visas. The regulation is effective from January 1 until the end of 2023.

Belarusian nationals were exempted from the fee in 2015.

There would still be exceptions: applicants for the so-called humanitarian visas, minors over the age of 12 and youths under 25 planning to attend seminars, conferences or sports, cultural and educational events organized by non-profit organizations wouldn’t have to pay.

As before, those applying on the basis of their Pole’s Cards would be exempt.
