January 19, BPN. Belarusian Foreign Minister Siarhiej Alejnik and Chinese Ambassador Xie Xiaoyong have discussed current issues pertaining to cooperation between Minsk and Beijing.
The talks in the Belarusian capital focused on the implementation of agreements reached between Alaksandr Łukašenka and Xi Jinping at a regional summit in Samarkand last year, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
It is remarkable that the talks took place ahead of the Belarusian and Russian foreign ministries’ annual board meeting, scheduled for January 19. Belarusian and Russian diplomats are expected to discuss integration and a coordinated foreign policy.
