Rubel up against US dollar, Russian ruble at BCSE
January 23, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.6279 at the January 23 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also climbed against the Russian currency to 3.8291 per 100 rubles but dropped against the euro to 2.8587 and the Chinese yuan to 3.8725 per 10 yuan.
Last week (January 16-20), the rubel dropped 0.97 percent against the dollar, but climbed 0.31 percent against the yuan, 1.73 percent against the euro and 0.86 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
