Belarusian potash deliveries to India down by 55 percent – report

January 30, BPN. Exports of Belarusian potash fertilizers to India dropped by 55 percent in the first 11 months of 2022, year on year.

The Indian Embassy in Belarus told Russian news agency TASS that Minsk and New Delhi were discussing whether it was possible to pay for Belarusian potash in Indian rupees.

In August 2022, Indian Ambassador Alok Ranjan Jha said problems with logistics and payments caused by sanctions and a conflict in Ukraine became the main challenges for the purchase of Belarusian potash fertilizers.
