Rubel up against dollar, yuan at BCSE

February 22, BPN. The Belarusian currency has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.7981 at the February 22 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.073 per 10 yuan, but dropped against the euro to 2.9883 and against the Russian currency to 3.7604 per 100 rubles. 

Last week, (February 13 – 17), the rubel fell 1.77 percent against the dollar, 0.93 percent against the euro, and 0.58 percent against the yuan. It climbed 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble.  

The Belarusian currency strengthened by 3.27 percent against the dollar in January following a 7.39 percent plunge against the greenback in 2022.
