Cichanoŭskaja, Moldova’s parliament speaker discuss fight against Kremlin’s propaganda
April 5, BPN. Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja and the speaker of Moldova’s parliament, Igor Grosu, have discussed “ways to counter the Kremlin’s propaganda,” Cichanoŭskaja’s press office reports.
The two politicians met on April 5 in Vilnius, where Grosu is on an official visit. Difficulties faced by countries in transition to democracy were also discussed. Grosu told Cichanoŭskaja about Moldova’s experience of reforms.
In January, Cichanoŭskaja and Moldovan President Maia Sandu met at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos. They talked about cooperation in the international arena and the participation of Belarusian democrats in a European Political Community summit, to be hosted by Moldova in June.
