Rubel down 4.2 percent against dollar at BCSE this week

April 7, BPN. The Belarusian currency has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9735 at the April 7 trading session at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.3277 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.607 per 100 rubles. The rubel has not traded against the European currency for two days and remained at 3.1824 against the euro.

This week (April 3 to 7), the rubel dropped by 4.2 percent against the dollar, by 4.12 percent against the yuan and by 2.36 percent against the euro. It rose by 2.58 percent against the Russian currency.

The rubel lost 4.41 percent of its value against the dollar in the first three months of 2023.
