World needs revolution of love, Catholic figure says in Easter message
April 8, BPN. The world needs a “new revolution of love,” Archbishop Emeritus Tadevuš Kandrusievič has said.
“The truth of Christ’s resurrection urges us not to content ourselves with getting up every morning to start the new day and its routine, earthly worries,” he said in the “Easter 2023 Message,” published on the Roman Catholic Church in Belarus website on April 8.
“The time has come to turn our gaze to spiritual matters and to treat it as an axiom that the truth of the Resurrection must become part of our life,” he added.
He called on the faithful “to live in truth and not compromise with evil no matter what.” “We don’t choose the time in which we live but we choose how to live in that time, in line with God’s law or contrary to it,” the popular spiritual leader said.
Having greeted the Belarusian Catholics, he said: “The resurrected Christ is the only and real response to life’s most difficult issues.”
