Banks’ regulatory capital exceeds $7bn

April 29, BPN. The regulatory capital of banks operating in Belarus totaled 17.92 billion rubels (over $7 billion) on April 1, the National Bank of Belarus said. It increased by 420 million rubels, 2.4 percent, over the first three months of 2023.

As of March 1, Belarus had 22 registered banks, one of which, Delta Bank, was in the process of liquidation.

The central bank  listed Biełarusbank, Biełahraprambank, Pryjorbank, Sber Bank and BiełZEB as Belarus’ systemically important financial institutions in 2023.
