Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

May 2, BPN. The rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.9001 at the May 2 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 4.173 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.6268 per 100 Russian rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.2525 against the euro. 

Last week (April 26-28), the rubel gained 0.41 percent versus the greenback, 1.16 percent against the yuan, and 0.07 percent against the Russian currency. It fell 0.39 percent against the common European currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
