Rubel slides against US dollar at BCSE

June 30, BPN. The rubel has slightly depreciated to 3.0319 per US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It rose to 4.1603 per 10 yuan and 3.4346 per 100 Russian rubles.

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN standing at 3.2836.

In the outgoing week (June 26-30), the rubel lost 1.45 percent against the dollar and 0.54 percent against the yuan. But it gained 0.03 percent against the euro and 3.67 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
