Rubel falls 2.1 percent against US dollar this week
December 8, Pozirk. The rubel has appreciated against the US, EU and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading it rose to 3.2055 per US dollar, 3.4404 per euro and 4.4694 per 10 yuan. At the same time, it fell to 3.4898 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (December 4–8), the rubel lost 2.1 percent against the dollar, 0.89 percent against the euro and 1.9 percent against the yuan. It gained 0.3 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 13.82 percent of its value against the dollar from January to November.
