Tinder dating app leaving Belarus next month
January 16, Pozirk. American Match Group brands, including Tinder dating app, are preparing to wind down their services in Belarus, Tinder press office reported without specifying the reasons.
As of February 15, Belarus-based users will be unable to access Tinder accounts and services or make in-app purchases, including new subscriptions, it noted.
Founded in 2012, Tinder became one of the world’s most popular dating apps that uses Facebook and geographic location data.
Tinder withdrew from Russia last June.
Several Western brands and companies left Russia and Belarus after Moscow started a full-scale war against Ukraine, in which the Belarusian authorities supported the Kremlin.
