Investigators forward case against four émigrés to prosecutor general

January 31, Pozirk. The Investigative Committee has asked the prosecutor general to support the charges of interfering in election against four exiled opposition figures.
Investigators want the Prosecutor General’s Office to launch special proceedings against Alena Žyvahłod, Alaksandar Dabravolski, Pavieł Libier and Pavieł Marynič for their trial in absentia.
The Investigative Committee said it continues “to identify and prosecute those involved in the attempt to disrupt the 2022 national referendum.”
Žyvahłod leads the Honest People campaign and serves as deputy speaker for the opposition Coordination Council.
Dabravolski advises opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja on political issues.
Libier launched the platform Hołas (Voice) to analyze the presidential election results in 2020, and the Novaja Biełaruś (New Belarus) application.
Marynič heads the Małanka Media news organization. He founded the Zubr (Bison) platform, which also monitored the 2020 election.
