Rubel slips against US dollar, yuan

June 7, Pozirk. The rubel has slipped to 3.1831 per US dollar and 4.3869 per 10 yuan at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
There was no trading in euros today, with EUR/BYN at 3.468. The Russian currency was unchanged at 3.5869 Belarusian rubels per 100 rubles.
In the outgoing week (June 3–7), the rubel gained 0.78 percent against the greenback, 0.58 percent against the yuan and 0.38 percent against the EU currency. However, it lost 0.79 percent against the Russian ruble.
The rubel lost 0.89 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months of 2024.
