Rubel climbs against US dollar, euro, yuan at week’s last trading session

December 20, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4468 against the US dollar at the December 20 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.58 per euro and 4.7622 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.3875 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (December 16–20), the rubel gained 0.83 percent of its value against the dollar, 2.57 percent against the euro and 0.47 percent against the Chinese yuan but fell 0.94 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
