January 8, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4918 against the US dollar at the January 8 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 4.7627 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.392 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.6104 against the euro.
In 2024, the rubel plunged 9.32 percent against the greenback, 1.57 percent against the euro and 9.2 percent against the yuan but gained 4.3 percent against the Russian ruble.
