Rubel slides against euro at week’s last trading session

January 11, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.5989 against the euro at the January 11 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency climbed to 3.4719 per US dollar, 4.742 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.4055 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (January 6 – 11), the rubel rose 0.68 percent against the dollar, 0.32 percent against the euro and 2.9 percent against the yuan but fell 1.47 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
