Russian governor visits Belarus, interested in public utilities equipment

August 28, BPN. The governor of Russia’s Tambov province has said his region is interested in buying and coproducing Belarusian equipment for public utilities and airports, as well as gas-fueled buses, according to the region’s press office.

Maksim Yegorov is leading a delegation of officials and businesspeople to visit several Belarusian industrial and technological enterprises.

He said Belarus was one of the main foreign trade partners of his province, which saw a significant increase in exports and imports with the country last year.

He praised the cooperation in transport, agriculture and culture, and said tourism and IT were promising areas for future collaboration.
