Belarus’ first drug-dispensing robot installed at Minsk railway station

(Ministry of Health)
April 22, Pozirk. Belarus’ first drug-dispensing robot has been installed at the lower level of Minsk’s railway station, the health ministry reported.
The closed cube contains shelves with medicines. The buyer just needs to enter the name of the drug on the touch screen, scan their passport and pay.
The scanning is intended to confirm that the buyer is 14 or older.
The robot takes the selected drug and sends it to the dispensing window.
The pharmacy offers about 300 over-the-counter Belarus-made drugs.
In the future, robots will issue drugs on electronic prescriptions.
The kiosk was designed by the Homiel-based company Eday Robotics, which specializes in the comprehensive automation of various industries.
