June 2, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has left for China to meet Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Pul Pervogo, his press office’s unofficial Telegram channel, reported.
The two will discuss ways to boost Belarusian-Chinese ties, joint projects, multilateral initiatives and international cooperation, it noted.
Łukašenka’s three-day visit will also feature other meetings, his press office added, without specifying any details.
The Belarusian ruler planned a trip to China for late 2024, but postponed it. His previous China visit was in early December 2023.
