Rubel up against euro at week’s last trading

August 22, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 3.4502 against the euro at the August 22 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.6938 per 100 Russian rubles but dropped to 2.9790 per US dollar and 4.1265 per 10 Chinese yuan.
In the outgoing week (August 18 – 22), the rubel lost 0.12 percent against the dollar and 0.24 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.28 percent against the euro and 0.49 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
