Dollar rise at currency exchanges slows to two percent in September

October 1, Pozirk. The average cash exchange rate for the US dollar rose 20.75 percent in the first nine months of 2023 to 3.2840 Belarusian rubels for a greenback in September, according to an analysis of bank quotes by Pozirk.

The dollar fluctuated against the rubel throughout the year, gaining 2.11 percent in September. In the previous month, it jumped 6.34 percent against the Belarusian currency.

The average buying rate for the dollar increased 2.13 percent in September, while the average selling rate rose 2.09 percent.

The dollar appreciated 5.93 percent against the rubel at currency exchanges in 2022.
