Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,454
February 26, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 5,355 from 907,978 on Friday to 913,333 on Saturday, with the death toll rising by 16 from 6,438 to 6,454, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 901,068 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,463 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,408,634 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Friday, with 19,314 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of February 23, as many as 5,612,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,951,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
