70% of Ukrainians blame solely Belarusian authorities for involvement of Belarus in the Russian invasion
March 6, BPN. 70% of Ukrainians blame the Belarusian authorities for involvement of Belarus in the Russian invasion, reported the Sociological group Rating (Kyiv), based on its survey Assessment of the Guilt of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus.
24% of respondents blamed both the government and the people. 4% had difficulty in answering, 2% indicated “other reasons.”
In the east of Ukraine, 79% of respondents blame only the Belarusian authorities, 72% in the south, 71% in the center, and 63% in the west. 15%, 19%, 25%, and 31% of respondents in these regions respectively blame both the authorities and the people.
A different ratio is observed when assessing the guilt of the authorities and the population of Russia: 55% of Ukrainians blame only the Russian authorities for the invasion, while 38% blame both the authorities and the people.
The survey was conducted on March 1 by phone among 1,200 adult respondents. The margin of error does not exceed 2.8%.
