Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,716
March 19, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,578 from 948,416 on Thursday to 949,994 on Friday, with the death toll rising by 11 from 6,705 to 6,716, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 946,017 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 583 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,718,008 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Friday, with 13,511 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of March 17, as many as 5,802,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,289,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
