Belarusian, Turkish foreign ministers discuss upcoming bilateral events
November 3, BPN. Belarusian Foreign Minister Uładzimir Makiej and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu have had a telephone conversation focused on implementing “agreements reached at the highest level” and “bilateral events in the near future,” the Belarusian foreign ministry said.
Makiej and Çavuşoğlu also discussed “the region’s current events, including the situation in Ukraine.” The Belarusian minister “appreciated Turkey’s efforts to resume the grain deal processes.”
This was a reference to a deal between Ukraine and Russia, facilitated by Turkey and the UN, on the safe exports of grain from the Black Sea ports to Asian and African countries.
