January 4, BPN. The National Legal Internet Portal reports that on December 30, the government issued a directive to lower export duties on oil and oil products leaving the Eurasian Economic Union’s common customs area.
The duty rate on crude oil, fuel oil, bitumen, petroleum jelly, petroleum wax and used oil products was reduced from $43.3 to $16.7 per 1 tonne. The rate on straight-run gasoline fell from $23.8 to $9.1. The rate on commercial gasoline, diesel oil, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylenes and lubricating oils fell from $12.9 to $5.
The directive came into force on January 1.
