Rubel climbs against dollar, Russian currency

January 11, BPN. The Belarusian currency rose against the US dollar and Russian ruble at the January 11 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It traded at 2.6786 rubels per dollar and 3.8568 per 100 Russian rubles.

It stood at 2.9 per euro and 3.9525 per 10 yuan, like the day before.

Last week (January 3-6), the rubel climbed 0.18 percent against the dollar and 0.47 percent against the euro. It dropped 3.38 percent against the yuan and 0.74 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
