Rubel gains 4.6 percent against US dollar at BCSE this week

January 13, BPN. The rubel has strengthened against the US dollar to 2.6055 at the January 13 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE). 

It also climbed against the Chinese yuan to 3.8728 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.8638 per 100 rubles.

The rubel remained at 2.9 against the euro because the European currency has not traded on January 13. 

This week (January 9-13), the rubel climbed by 4.61 percent against the dollar and by 2.99 percent against the yuan. It dropped 0.22 percent against the euro and 1.37 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency plunged by 7.39 percent against the greenback in 2022.
